Post run oats for breakfast. I am trying to get myself back into a routine of running a couple times a week now that it’s getting light earlier in the mornings. I do struggle getting out of bed early a lot of the time, due to both depression and winter and my anxiety. But once I’m up and awake all those feelings fade away.
And when I’m finally running along the track it all becomes worth it. I love that moment when I feel the sun on my skin for first time as it rises from behind the hills, the way the ocean has that dreamy, golden, shimmering pathway of light cast upon. It was a beautiful way to start my morning.
I‘m already feeling tired thanks to the total lack of sleep I had last night, but I plan on having a pretty chilled Sunday. My to-do list is filled with mundane things like watering my plants, re-arranging my far too small and full book case, and making lunch for work tomorrow.
