How did you get a flat with your job?

when they refurbished the cinema part of it got turned into residential flats. they offered me one as part of the job because it allows me to be much more flexible regarding my working hours which is something they were very keen on. It also makes up for the fact that my salary isn’t great – this is a non profit community cinema so there isn’t much money knocking around. It was agreed that they would subsidise my flat to make up for the salary being lower than what I wanted
