Are any of my lovely followers more tech savvy than I am?… 

I need to get wifi but there are so many options and I don’t know what speed I need. Primarily it would be streaming and gaming from a maximum of 4 devices. 

Please help me, I am trying v hard to be an adult but it is extremely hard :(((

What are your choices? I think for most people 20-40 megs is enough but if you expect to be doing both gaming and streaming at the same time – you may want faster. 

One thing to keep in mind with wireless is it will get slower the further you are aware from the router.

So – if speed is important to you, I generally say more is better. 100 meg is ideal as you should get good speeds most places in your home.  

You might ask what you options are to change after install? In some cases they may be able to give you more speed later if you find you need it. They are more likely to upgrade your speed than downgrade it – at least here in the U.S.

My new flat is tiny and it’s only me here so there wouldn’t be two streams going on at once or gaming + streaming.

We also live in the back arse of nowhere so the fastest speed is around 65 and it’s extortionately expensive :S
